Got a couple of calls, so.... Monday is surgery day... my second. Please understand that I have had absolutely no pain with this. The first surgery was with a local and, in comparison, the doctor said getting a tooth pulled is a light-year more painful. As to the general surgery on Monday, I go under because of the lymph gland examination. The site of the cancer on my arm would not require anything but a local and lunch. The lymph examination and biopsy is potential painful and thats the reason for the general with an overnight in the hospital. Its not the cancer thats painful. Do Not Worry About This! The reason for the lymph examination is to determine how far the cancer has spread and that will determine future treatments. By the way, the Veterans Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, is taking care of all of this.... no bills, no bills, no bills. Dont you wish we all had National Health?
