Got a question about some RGB ribbons I bought from Seasonal - TopicsExpress

Got a question about some RGB ribbons I bought from Seasonal Entertainment early last year (I asked Greg, but he didnt have the exact answer because he was out of the office). As you may be able to see from the first photo, the green wire is connected to the blue LEDs, and the blue wire is connected to the green LEDs. I didnt look closely before I hooked it up, and just trusted the color of the wires. This caused my blue and green be be swapped. If we look at the JST SM-series 4-pin connector, be the wire color the order is red, common, green, blue, but by the actual connections to the strips, the order is red, common, blue, green. My question is: What is the standard (de facto) for the pins on the 4-pin JST connector when used with dumb RGB ribbons? Id like to continue to use the connectors so I can quickly swap components if needed, but Id like to keep the same standard everyone else is using.
