Got a story to tell about my deer season. We starting hunting a new spot this season. Put cameras out and very 1st deer we see on camera is a big buck which immediately becomes our target buck. My buddy Todd and me hunt this deer all season have probably more than a 1000 pics of him. We call him Browser. Hes a bruiser with awesome brow tines. Ive logged in over 200 hours hunting this deer this season. Got to see him 4 times total. When I was in one spot he was in another. Jus a big ol smart buck. Until yesterday afternoon. Everything came together. He came out at 22yds he stood there for what seemed like a hour but was more like 5 minutes quartering towards me. Then turned and started quartering away. 2 other bucks stayed in thicket. I drew my Mathews and he stopped at 28yds. I Made the shot of my life. Of course when he went into thicket I couldnt hear anything. I was calm until now. I stood there for 5 minutes. I called Kelly Druck Dube I was so tore up I had to call her back. I couldnt hardly talk I was so shook up. Finally talked to her told her what jus went down then called my buddy Todd who knew I had shot him when I called cause it wasnt dark yet and figured that was the only way I was calling before dark. Hes not on Facebook but a big shout out to Todd Buckingham. Couldnt ask for a better friend and hunting partner. Really big shout out to my lady Kelly, I love you!!! I know you put up with a lot especially during hunting season. She knows absolutely everything that happens when I get home. She listens wether she wants to or not. Love you darling.
