Got tagged by my buddy, Dakota Cassidy, for this one. See what happens when I ask an innocent question? Now I get to tell you #15 things about myself you might not know. My favorite poem is The Power of the Dog by Rudyard Kipling (If youve ever lost a dog, itll make you cry, but then itll lift you up too. Powerful stuff.) Im a Scorpio. I might not subscribe to zodiac stuff per se, but man I really do follow a lot of the Scorpio traits. Weird how that worked out. Im the youngest of my siblings. Im a very loyal friend. Ive changed my hair style three times this year. Not sure what thats about. LOL! Im an American currently living in France. No, I dont speak French. I took Spanish in school. Makes for some interesting times. I LOVE to travel, so this whole France gig gets a big thumbs up. I brainstorm my books in notebooks (the actual writing is done on my laptop), but all my outlines are handwritten. I think putting pen to paper helps me be more creative and process the information differently. As Im going through the edit phase, Ill hand write notes about things I need to edit, and I ALWAYS use different color pens. Its like a ritual or something. I wrote an entire trilogy around a dream I had about a vampire who kidnapped a human woman and threw her through a warehouse window to save her life. True. This was my SCIONS trilogy for Harlequin. I wrote another series around a ring I bought that seemed to carry a perfumed scent. Drove me nuts…until it gave me a great idea. True. This was my KENDRIAN VAMPIRES series. Garth Brooks song Rodeo inspired my BAD IN BOOTS series. I have made some amazing friends in the writing world. Friends Ive now known for 10+ years now. My degree was in business not writing, but I cant imagine doing anything else. I knew I would be an author one day.
