Got this on e-mail today from a questionnaire. It blessed my socks off. The most important thing I have learned from this first year of CC is the importance of community. There have been many days when I am grumpy and the kids are struggling to focus on their memory work. I know this happens to everyone. The difference this year has been that I know we are not alone. Many other parents and kids are working though the same struggles, the same challenges, and even the same memory work that we are. Every Monday I look around and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this group of people who have become like family to us, people who speak encouragement into my life and the lives of my children. God put it on each of our hearts to be educating our children at home, and I wholeheartedly believe he placed us in the right community of people who will encourage us along the way.
