Got to give my Love and appreciation to Frankie Knuckles the Godfather of House today RIP :) A very sad Loss for all of us who have no doubt been moved by his music in many ways over the years. Tears of joy at times i have felt on the dancefloor to his many musical productions . Many songs from the heart , making everybody get on there feet and move there bodies to the beat. Music take control, Music good for your Soul, Let the music take you to the top. Let the music take control of your mind body & soul.. Ill never forget the moment in Thailand when i played the whistle song at dawn with people dancing in the sea in front of our club the Vinyl Cafe....little was i to know i would also be listening to it to when it represented FREEDOM to me in many ways and the first track i had heard when music was taken from me for a while ... It put the biggest smile on my face to date :) and i am truly grateful. I can only imagine the turntables will be awaiting you & the likes of Larry Levan who will be there to throw a house party of all house partys.. Your Love will never be forgotten and the many emotive moments you gave us all :) One love Jonny x
