Got to the Depot on Wednesday morning after two days at the Academy and was informed that I have been allocated a truck (as a Tramper you stick with one as its your home for the week) but its a old one but will be getting replaced very soon so when you come in tonight dont be kicking off so off I trotted back home to return for my Night shift. Got back into work that evening and asked for my keys and was informed it was at the garage (good start) off I trotted up to the garage got my keys and found my truck well he wasnt lying it was old 2 years old to be exact lol, obviously non of these boys have worked for companies were old means OLD as in pre 2005, so I have to rough it now in my 2 year old truck until I can get a new one which I have been unofficially been informed will be early next year How will I cope lol So the name is Laura Gail for all you Eddie spotters Fleet number is H**** sorry cant be putting that out wouldnt want any of you making up stories to customer services how you just got laced with a MP5 from one of their trucks or how you drove through the Fog only to find it was Laura Gail popping smoke lol So Monday evening will be the start of my first official week and I have already come against my first challenge Slimmin down my kit yes all that fitted easily in a MAN douth not fit in a G-Series Scania so its going to be a man pack exercise this weekend take all my kit and start sacking half of it so it will all fit in a 100ltr bergen.
