Gov. Almakura Commissions/Opens Taal Forward 2015 Campaign Office in Nasarawa Eggon. His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has called for more unity between all people of Nasarawa State . Gov. Almakura made the call when he commissioned /opened the Taal Forward 2015 Campaign Office constructed at Nasarawa Eggon, he used the occasion to speak to the people about the befits of being one united people all of Nasarawa State and the developmental bonuses that come from peace. He commended the leadership of the group for the effort they had made in putting up the office , stating that he would find time to come and celebrate the opening of the office at the appropriate time. Reminding them that the journey started three years ago would continue and more development would come to the LGA and the state as those were the dividends of democracy he would give the people. Earlier, the Taal Forward 2015 Chairman Hamisu A. Abbas in his speech thanked Gov. Almakura for honouring them by personally coming to open the office. He made it clear that any rumours going round that the people of Nasarawa Eggon had joined the People Democratic Party (PDP) were false. He stated that they were firmly with Gov. Almakura and the APC, also appreciated his desire within the short time in office he had put Nasarawa in the league of developed states. He listed out some of the governors achievements and thanked him for the speedy completion of Nasarawa Eggon Township roads and the Taal model School stating that all the people would bear testimony and eye witness to all he had done for them and the state in general. Lastly , making it known that they felt it was their civic responsibility with the parameter of assessment to call on him to continue the good work, and intention to restore the lost glory of our dear state which they believe is now on course. Gov. Almakura then commissioned the office and unveiled a billboard.
