Gov. Kashim Shettima swear-in 27 newly appointed caretaker Local Government Chairmen Gov. Kashim Shettima had this evening swear-in 27 Local Government Caretaker Chairmen at the Government House Maiduguri. The Governor congratulated them over their new appointment and called on them to work for the masses because he said Governance is all about service delivery to the door-step of the common man. He also charged them to pray and work hard for the restoration of peace in state, and abstain from politics of bitterness. Alhaji Kadiri Rahis the Caretaker of MMC who spoke on behalf of the Chairmen thanked the Governor for the confidence he has on them, and further pledge their total and unflinching support. The swear-in ceremony was presided over by Justice Ayuba Kwajaffa under the supervision of Gov. Kashim Shettima.
