Gov Mukhtar Ramalan Yero urged for prayers against insecurity in the country Kaduna state governor Mukthar Ramalan Yero has urged the people Kaduna to pray for peace and against insecurity in the state and the nation at large, expecially the northern part. In a statement, signed by the Director-General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, Gov Yero said ‘our prayer is that may Allah (SWT) accept all our acts of worship during the holy period and may He also forgive us our shortcomings and reward us with Paradise in the hereafter’. He also called on Muslims to uphold the spirit of brotherhood of mankind as enjoined by Allah in the Glorious Qur’an through promoting peace, unity and progress in the entire Globe. Aggression is un-Islamic, because the paramount obligation on all Muslims is ‘As Sabr’- Patience. I, therefore, call on all Muslims all over the country to sustain prayers and to be genuinely committed towards resolving the current state of insecurity plaguing our great nation, especially in some parts of the North. We should all lead the way in our quest to build a peaceful, united and prosperous Nigeria.
