Governor Brownback claims that he has increased funding for education in the last three years. If thats the case, why did a nonpartisan study confirm that only three other states have cut education funding more than Kansas since the start of the recession? Why have class sizes and fees gone up? Why have teachers been laid off by the thousands? Why did test scores drop for the first time in over a decade? Once again, Governor Brownbacks numbers just dont add up.
