Govt cut sod for $5 million Gomoa project As part of NDC 2012 manifesto to develop the Public-Private- Partnership policy to provide opportunities for the private sector to participate in the delivery of infrastructure, p38 • The Central Regional Minister on Saturday cut sod for the construction of a $ 5 million project at Gomoa Dasum. • The project, a grant facility from the government of Saudi Arabia, includes a university, hospital, sports complex and a police station. • The projects will commence in April and expected to be completed in five years. • When completed the University will take a maximum of 20,000 students to pursue various courses in Law, Medicine, Arts and Business. • The projects will complement government’s efforts of providing affordable and accessible education form the basic level to tertiary for all Ghanaians.
