Govt inaugurates police station for two Kumasi Communities In fulfillment of NDC 2012 manifesto to provide adequate security for all citizenry, p71 • New police station has been opened for residents of Denchemuoso and Atwima-Techniman in the Kumasi metropolis. • Funded by the government at the cost of GH218, 962.44, the police station will serve Atwima-Boko, Ohwimase,Atwima-Techiman and other communities whose residents had to travel to the Sofoline or Twedie Police stations before accessing the services of the police. • The new station has a station officer’s office, a CID office, a common room, a juvenile cell (the first of its kind in the region), male and female cells, an armory and a store.
