Gowda, Tintu, Arpinder & Poovamma in Asia Pacific Team for IAAF Continental Cup 2014! 2014 CWG discus throw champion Vikas Gowda, triple jump bronze medalist Arpinder Singh, reigning Asian Championship title holder in 800m Tintu Luka and women 400 metres rising star MR Poovamma have been selected to represent the Asia Pacific Team for the IAAF Continental Cup to be held at Marrakech, September 13-14, 2014. The Asian Athletics Association said these athletes were selected due to their excellent performances based on the top lists rankings provided by the IAAF Statisticians for Asia Pacific, updated after the recent Commonwealth Games.
