Grace Kennedy is Seeking -Wines & Spirits Promoters Kingston Metropolitan Area, Montego Bay & Ocho Rios Grace Foods & Services, Commercial (Presales) Department Reporting to the Trade Development Manager, the incumbents will be responsible for representing Grace distributed wines and spirits in all channels and corporate accounts through on going promotions and events to build awareness and increase market share. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products •Create a positive image and generate brand sales through consumer engagement •Set up booths or promotional stands and products •Report on demonstration related information (interest level, questions asked, number of samples/flyers distributed, etc.) •Sampling of products to create brand awareness to generate immediate and/or potential sales •Able to achieve promotion sales target for assigned location(s) ACADEMIC/ PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS •At minimum: Current or past student of a tertiary institution •Exposure or training in the Hospitality Industry, would be an asset •Valid Food Handlers’ Permit SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS •Strong listening, communication and presentation skills •Ability to understand consumer needs and handle different types of personalities •Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of flexibility •Required to work extended hours including nights, weekends and public holidays •Possess a strong interest in wines and spirits •Willing to work in a variety of locations with large crowds and potential for retail sales. •Ability to use creativity, humour and spontaneity to create immediate product interest. •Employment: part-time basis DEADLINE Qualified candidates are invited to submit applications online, no later than Friday, 2014 August 22 Go On Grace Kennedy Website to apply!!
