Grace WOD November 8, 2013 Warm Up: Read Job 38:4-7 WOD: Stay grounded and pray. Ill save you having to read it. Where were you when I had laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Ive tried to write this a couple of times and I feel like the best thing for me to do this morning is to pray. I hope that youll pray with me, I hope that youll pray for everyone involved, and I hope that you will continue your prayers throughout the weekend. Lord, you are the Maker of the Heavens and Earth. You are our Creator and King. Lord, I ask that you would allow all of us to keep our minds grounded and to keep this weekend in perspective. Remind us of Your power, Your mercy, and Your never ending grace. Remind us that Your plan for us and the outcome of this weekend is far beyond our comprehension and control. Give us the strength to push and fight through, and give us the wisdom to do it as champions. Let us treat each other with kindness and respect and allow us to show one another compassion. Lord, keep our minds right and our hearts slow. Guide our words, guide our actions, and guide our hearts. Protect us and give us strength. Lord, I pray that HOA5 would be a testimony of hard work and dedication, but more so a testimony to our faith in You. Be with all of us, Lord, and may we give you the glory. Youre all ready for this.
