Grace Works 2 The actual problem with religion is that it puts the cart before the horse and expects a perfect journey... No things dont work that way.... Many at times what religion holds on to is actually foolish if viewed through the lens of the word of Gods word... The word says the works of the devil HAS been destroyed, 1john 3:8 religion says lets pray hard to destroy the works of the devil... The word says the devil and death has been destroyed heb.2:14,15 religion says we have to wrestle with the devil through warfare prayers.. Religion tells us to deal with sin and try to overcome sin when the bible says we have overcome and are more than conquerors through him that loved us. When God expects us to rest undaunted in His Love and His power, thats when religion demands that we start working out our own salvation, as if we can save ourselves... If we can work our salvation out by living in a particular way, it means Jesus made a mistake coming to die a shameful death on the cross... The truth is we all needed a savior, we need someone who is right with God, who by the virtue of His rightness, we could get access to God through him, and not by any thing we have done.... Or can do, Jesus didnt save us to start doing works to complement our salvation, he saved us to rest, He said come unto me all ye that labour, I WILL GIVE YOU REST he didnt say I will give you works to do... God aint givin you any work to do, wake up and REST in his love, dont be moved by the agitations of men, Just be confident in what God has said, He said you are Righteous, and no devil can erase that, so be bold to show it to your experiences or to the devil or any hell preacher that truth whenever they do their thing... Just say the six words; I AM THE RIGHTEOUNESS OF GOD and put up a confident smile afterwards, let the devil know that youre sure, let hell know that youre persuaded... 2 Corinthians 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. You see, God want you to Glory or pride or boast on his behalf, he wants you to flaunt the robe of righteousness by FAITH that he has adorn you with, Never let anybody make you despise it... It is true that the Bible says we should work out our salvation with fear and trembling, But never the way religion gives it to us, religion tells us to do so that we may make heaven, But the truth tells us that we should do so because it is God that works in us the things that he pleases... Because we are already in the kingdom of his dear son So God is working in me, I should show forth his works BY strictly holding unto what he says and believing without compromise the things that he is doing in my life Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Thats what philipians 2:12-13 wants us to bear in mind... Working out your salvation is first knowing that you already have the salvation and then be confident of it in the face of whatever discouragement that life or religion may ever throw at you, Never despise it, defend your confidence of it at any moment in time with all seriousness and precise conviction... Thats what the portion is saying... He is not saying you should gather your muscles to safe yourself by living a so-called holy life... He has just encouraged the philipians church to not boast or have vain glory in their own effort or in their own ability or their personality but in the power of God that works in them which they should appreciate and which in turn should make them humble and respectful towards every other persons that are thus saved, citing for them the example of Jesus how that he though being equal with God but humbled himself and saved us... Read phil.2 in context and see truth for yourself The Christ life is a Holy one, and it is God that works in us to manifest it... Glory to Him Follow peace with all men and Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord is NOT asking you to do your best to be Holy so that you may See God when you get to heaven or on the last day... Far be it, thats not what he is saying at all... How religion makes us believe the wrong things... And make us misunderstand the truth. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Many even quote it as without holiness no man shall see the lord and many people are so scared reading that, and they begin to feel like; am I Holy enough to see the Lord? The issue is if you are saved, Born again or have the Holy Spirit, it means you are Holy and without blame before God in love... Eph 1:4 no body can be more holy than you and you dont have any problem with seeing God... The bible says; But we all with unveiled faces beholding as in a mirror the Glory of God are BEING changed into thesame image from Glory to Glory by the spirit of the lord..2cor.3:18. The Bible even say we should be looking unto Jesus. Heb.12:2.. So how will you be looking at me if you cant see me?... We dont have problem with seeing the Lord, he shows himself to us always, we might only need the eyes of our understanding to be enlightened enough to see him as he is, eph.1:18 so that we might see that we are Just as he is 1john 4:17... Because when he shall appear to our eyes of faith, then we shall be like Him, for we shall see him as he is, for as he is, so are we in this world... 1john3:1-2 2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. So it is not about we seeing the lord in the last day, he didnt say without which we will not meet the lord in the air... Our meeting him is ONLY hinged on our faith in Him Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. The bible says EVERY eyes shall see Him, not if they are holy, But in as much as they have eyes, they shall see him when he shall appear with clouds, that time, the Bible says we shall appear with Him in Glory... We cant help it... Colosians 3:4 but the rest of the world will see him and see us with him... Glory!!! Even they that hated him shall see... So what then is heb. 12:14 saying? He simply says we should let the peace of God that we got and the nature of Holiness that we got be obvious in us such that ordinary people(men) may see Gods love in us.... Men will not believe that God can change bad people to good until they begin to see faith working by love out of us... The bible says God is Love, and that the Love of God is shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit which is in us, so Loving is our Holy nature and we dont struggle to dispense it, it is this way that all men will see God and know that we are His.... Follow peace and holiness with all men... The main thing there is peace with all men, But let it be the kind of peace that is divine, let sacredness and divine uniqueness be the quality of the kind of peace that you have with people Jesus said the kind of peace I leave with you is not the one that the world gives John 14:27 So our own has Holiness or sacredness in it, it is not for selfish gain, it is borne out of the Love of God that is in us And this is how men see God in us... Our life displays God, we live to show forth the praises of Him who loved us and has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light... This is the believers consciousness, He has pleased God, and he is pleased... His life reflects Gods pleasure because the Grace of God works in Him.... He is not afraid of loosing God, because God Himself has said, I will never leave you Nor forsake you... There is no fear in love... Perfect love casts out fear... And the Love of God is so contagious, He Lavished his Love on us and we became the instruments and channels of His love Glory to God, #Grace_works Blessings!!!!
