Grace is the good news sent to us from the printing presses of heaven. I have meticulously and repetitively tried to present to you the fact that grace is based on what God has done, not what you can do. We will turn the corner and view the grace of God from a different angle. Although grace is not dependent on your works, it does not mean that you do not work. That is a subversion of the message of grace. We have to walk a narrow line as we seek to hold two truths in perfect tension. On the one hand, you do not work to get His grace, but on the other hand, when you have His grace you will work. As followers of the Lord, we must hold these truths in harmony so there is no discord in our lives. The workings of grace is an occupational force, manufacturing the PLANS and PURPOSES of God through our lives. “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” — (1 Cor. 15:10)
