Graduates: Web and Software Developer - 2e-volve (UK) Limited (Stirling) 12 month ScotGrad placement 2e-volve are looking to recruit a graduate software developer to work with our existing in house development and management teams to identify and develop new Modules for our WebPower Cloud Application. This 12 month placement will be based in Stirling and it is a pivotal role which will aid us in determining the next generation of our software. Project Description Our WebPower™ product suite provides the user with an easy to use interface for managing a range of web business application modules, each of which can be deployed on its own but equally integrate fully with each other and the central Content Management System platform. These application modules provide fundamental online business processes including ecommerce, e-marketing, asset management, e-booking and customer/contact management. They can be used to generate complex multi-lingual web presences seamlessly linking to external web apps or data sources. Over the last few years we have been asked in particular about developing a responsive design Retail Till front end for our WebPower Cloud – as part of this project we will be looking at the Retail Till module and building a template for future module development based around the processes we identify during this project. The graduate will be required to liaise with our clients, our development team and management to align the new modules with our existing client requirements and work on implementing these new modules. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our software and management teams in a dynamic and live commercial environment, to showcase their skill set. The placement objectives are two fold: 1: We wish to enhance our webPower Cloud Platform 2: Identify a new potential team member for a full time position Role Description The role will involve both research and hands on development skills. We will expect the successful candidate to be able to evaluate our competitors offerings and to suggest technical and process enhancements we might adopt. The successful candidate will be tasked with preparing and presenting their findings and suggestions for new modules and enhancements within the first 3 months of the project. Qualifications Any IT related degree Computer Science, Software etc. Skills / Experience Essential Skills Able to build websites in any languges - from code level up. Desirable Skills .NET, PHP and Experience of Open Source Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Drupal or Ecommerce applciations such as Magento.
