Gran and Dragonfly...my Son John was given Dragonfly on his 16th birthday from Amanda Rose Tanuis. He loved his new cat. It was the first pet that was only his. We use to drive to see Gran with the new kitten ( Dragonfly LOVED the car rides and did not even need a cat carrier!) and at times we stayed with Gran with the cat. Gran adored her. After some time Gran felt it was unfair to take her back and forth our home to hers. We knew Gran missed the cat and saw how she lit up when Dradonfly was at her home. It made her so happy. I discussed this with John, and he agreed that Gran could have her at her house as she seemed to really adore her and we knew she got lonely sometimes. I believe my son added joy and maybe even time to our Grans life with the sacrifice that he made giving/lending the cat to his Great-Gran and I am proud of his choice and ability to see that Gran did not just want the cat, but ...needed her. We told Gran that if anything happened to her we would take the cat back. So now Dragonfly is back with us after having had a fantastic life with Gran. Gran always gave us what she felt we needed and when I see the cat I remember this and also, remember that my son also gave Gran what she needed, too. :)
