Grand Oak develops new sales technology In a bid to boost its revenue, Grand Oak Limited, a distillery marketing company, has developed a technology called Fieldmax Mobile for its sales force. The new technology, which is used by field sales personnel, resides on smart phones, basic phones and tablets. It is aimed at driving sales in the wine and spirit market. A statement by the firm on Friday, quoted Grand Oak’s General Manager, Marketing, Mr. Brajesh Kumar, as saying, “FieldMax has been designed to make it very simple for field workers access or process various business transactions like order details, collections, inventory delivery schedule, order status, invoices and sales returns, among others, when working on the field.” He added that FieldMax Mobile empowered the field users by providing updated information from Enterprise Resource Planning systems into their mobile systems, adding that the solution had undergone extensive field trials to ensure that it was intuitive and easy to use. Corroborating this, Grand Oak’s Regional Sales Manager (South West), Mr. Femi Olayemi, said the new device would make selling job easier and faster for sales team.
