Gravity is a visual masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of C.G.I. and captivates you from the get go. This film not only broke my heart, but it indulged my minds hunger for action and left me feeling enriched with a good spirit by the end. The intense action scenes were something to marvel at. Scenes when people are flying around space being jolted back and fourth with the terrifying thoughts of being flung out into endless space and having nothing to think about besides that you are going to die as soon as you run out of oxygen or being struck by a piece of space debris going faster than a bullet killing intensely leaving a giant whole right through your body from where the debris entered and exited. But my favourite scenes were the ones that relied purely on Sandras performance. The scene when she turns off all the power and she is going to let herself fall asleep and die listening to the lullaby she picked up on the two-way radio.. It left me with chills running through my body, goosebumps all over me and tears running down my face. Sandra Bullocks performance as Dr. Ryan Stone is mind blowing. Sandra Bullock is one of my all-time favourite actresses and I could not get enough of her in this film. She was perfect for this role. You can not question her talent as an actress, especially after you watch Gravity. George Clooney was also incredible in his role as Lieutenant Matt Kowalski. He added a fun and relaxed tone to the film. Which I think was a perfect thing to do. Overall, Gravity is visually stunning and an epic and heartbreaking film about the fight to survive. It reminds us how small we are in the aspect of the universe but how the will to live is bigger than anything. Definitely a film worth watching in my opinion. It has to be one of the best films I have ever seen. Hands down [5 out of 5] rating.
