{Great Recipe Idea}: Aldi Mum Tiffany has shared her Aldi Chicken Parmigiana Recipe: Chicken Pasata or your favourite pasta sauce (the tomato garlic one is a favourite from Aldi) Flour Egg Breadcrumbs Cheese Bacon (optional) You can buy a whole chicken at Aldi for around $6 (costs around that much if you just buy 2 breasts!). Cut it up into pieces, and freeze the thighs/legs for another meal. Butterfly the breasts in half. Then flatten them out with a mallet/rolling pin. Should end up with 4 decent sized pieces. I like to soak them in milk overnight, this makes them so moist an juicy. (You dont have to do it though). Then dust in flour, egg, then breadcrumbs. You can either cook them in the oven, frying pan or deep fryer. Once theyre cooked, top with the sauce then cheese. (I like to cook up some diced bacon bits and add it to the sauce). Place in to a 200°c oven until cheese is melted. Serve with the frozen winter veg.
