Great Religious Awakening Revelation Chapter 10 This Chapter happens to be the shortest chapter in the book of revelation with a straight message, but of course still symbolic. Read carefully the book of Daniel Chapter 12; 5-13 it will not be a mistake to say that the same angel that appeared to John was the same angel that appeared to Daniel, raising the same hands to swear by the same means that the things revealed would be accomplished. The difference here is that in the time of Daniel he was not holding the little book. What then is the little book? In the time of Daniel it was so obvious that most of this prophesies were not understood by him, even though he was given the interpretations. It is evident in most of his writing that he will at time wake into pains and sickness as a result of trying too hard to understand them. Most times he was asked to seal up the prophesies, just as John was asked to seal up the massages of the seven Thunder. Daniel 8: 26, 27 “……wherefore shut thou up the vision for it shall be for many days. And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days….” See also Daniel 12:4 and 9. It is therefore obvious that the little book held by the same angel was the book of Daniel. Meaning the Prophesies would be unsealed and understood at the period John prophesied about Verses 8-11 John was instructed to eat the little book that was given to him, and he discovered the same thing that the angel told him, that it will be sweet in the mouth and bitter in the belly. After the dark ages, which stretched for more than a thousand years and after the reformation period, religious tolerance was given, people started studying the bible in details. It was this reason a preacher in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by the name Josiah Litch prepare several articles on the seven trumpet massages. To also predict accurately the fall of the Turks in 1840. This spurred the people to study the book of Daniel so vigorously. There is a saying that the truth is bitter. This could be the direct interpretation of the book been bitter in the belly of John. Really when we shall start discussing the book of Daniel you will find out there are some marvelous revealing with a lot bitter truth. Very many people accepted it as a nice message but were bitterly disappointed when it did not happen as the thought. In any case the book of Daniel is that little book given to John. The Prophesies that Daniel struggled to understand is now clear to us, however as the Angel told John, the teaching will be sweet to take in, but will be very bitter to digest. We shall suspend the book of Revelation and concentrate on the book of Daniel. Let us eat the little book. And feel what John felt.
