Great. So now women need more men to protect them from other men. Concept of self sufficiency seems hugely missing. Depleted and constantly shuddering ... Why cant Indian women simply be rid of mental notion of fear? Or why wont they. Does it serve them to be the weaker gender? Religion being evoked now. Geez! Tell you what -1992 till date - I have lived without any male family / friend for social protection. Ive experienced being preyed on in every manner of speaking. In a heavily male dominated culture and violence towards women not only have I stood alone, Ive stood up for myself my mother and a few many women too. I didnt need religion to be fearless. And its been tough. Not one man has ever come to my aid stood by my side. Ever. For me most natural state to be - is to stand up for myself, be fearless and help others too. If I wanted easy I guess I would tremble cuz a man looked at me... And hope some guy will come save me. Infact, I dont even know one single Man. Not one who has bigger balls than me or ethics. I know plenty of males. Im a better Man then most. If females can simply do away with fear and claim their place in society half the battle is won! Without any silly buy in like religious sentiment.
