Great Spark! Love David A2J I was recently sparked and wanted to share. My youngest turned 9 mid October , had to wait a few days till payday to get her only present... A new bike! Just a cheap walmart one, but absolutely loved it and as so grateful! We dont have much, so it meant even more to her. Last weekend, she asked to go visit her friend, sure! Mom, wheres my bike? Someone stole it off our back patio. Made a police report, was informed that there is a resale shop a few blocks from our house, figured Id report it there in case someone tried to sell it there. Showed pics and left our info, went home to a crying kid. The next day, the shop said they had info on my girls bike! Went up immediately ready to get info to provide to the police again. There was a gentleman who was in the store while my daughter and I were giving info, and he is a music minister at a local church, happened to overhear us. When I can up to the store, he stopped me and said I know its not the same one, but do you think she would like this bike? The resale store had just purchased an unused bike, the church purchased it for my kid! Not only did they help us, but also supported a local mom and pop shop at the same time! My daughter is once again riding through the neighborhood, and was again crying, but from happiness! Thank you for the kindness of strangers, we have already passed it on, but thats for our heart to smile about!!
