Great Spark! Love David I live in the Pacific NW. I went to the local hospital for my every-other-month lab work for some potent meds Im on. The sign-in point for the lab is at the front desk, manned by a volunteer who Ill leave nameless. She and I usually chat for a few minutes while Im waiting. When I went in this past Saturday morning, we chatted and she asked about my pedicure. She remember that I would go get mine done professionally, because Im not physically capable of doing them myself. I showed my my red toenails and she remarked she was past due for one and told me the place she would go to. By the area, I knew she could well afford to get one, when she had the time. Then I was called to the lab and had to say goodbye. As I was leaving the lab, something drew me back to her. I walked to the counter and said I wanted to do something for her. I laid $20 on her desk and said have a pedicure on me. She said no, but I insisted. I explained about One Spark to her and showed her your page, which she now follows. She teared up and said she had just lost two people she was close to in the last week and was feeling down, but I gave her a badly needed boost. She asked if she could pay me back with a hug and I accepted. I told her all I asked was she pass the spark on sometime. Im so glad I listened to my inner voice and went back to her....well worth that $20. I know she will see herself in this story and want her to know Ive been thinking about her.
