Great Spark!! Love, One Spark Each New Years my daughter and I have lunch at a restaurant of her choice. I let her order whatever she wants and even have dessert first if she chooses to. This is our way of celebrating a great year to come. However, I felt like we should do a little more for others, also. So, for a year or two, I would pick a friend who was down on their luck and ask them to join us, but they always made excuses about not wanting to burden us. So, for the last 3 years we have been asking for our check and leaving 2 $100 bills in the folder, one for the meal and one to spread good faith of the year to come to the unsuspecting waiter and leaving before they see it. I know now everyone can help financially, but everyone can do something! Be creative!
