Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with humbled hearts that we unite together as one to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the rains that have come to areas that have been in need. We thank you for Grandfather Sun as he brings growth and warmth to the lands and the people that inhabit them. We thank you for the sacredness of the soil we tread upon as it holds the history and the blood of our ancestors. We thank you for Father Sky as he protects us and our Earth Mother throughout the day and night. We thank you for our Earth Mother that supplies us with all we need to survive. May we learn to become better caretakers of the lands and animals. We thank you for Grandmother Moon as she watches over us during our slumber each night. We ask for the cessation of the turmoil and negativity that surround us. We ask for a time of peace and serenity where we are able to clear our minds of the negative thoughts and allow the good to blossom once again. We ask for your healing hands to be placed upon those that are suffering through diverse ailments, diseases and disorders. We ask for hardened hearts to soften and compassion be allowed to grow. We ask for an end to the division that continues to threaten the strength of the family, culture and communities. We ask for forgiveness for those things that we often take for granted and forget to offer up the thanks you deserve. We ask for the merging of cultures and heritages that will bring in a world of greater understanding. May we begin to unite together to bring balance to our Earth Mother. We ask for an era of peace where wars and hostilities become history. We ask for an end to all forms of hatred, greed, abuse, discrimination, racism, and the lust of materialism. We ask for the return of our children that are currently fighting across the waters. We ask for your guidance as we travel along our paths. May we journey with strong legs and straight eyes. We ask for the prophesies of our ancestors be fulfilled to bring about a better world. We ask for an end to the abuse and violence against our women and children. We ask for the release of those that have been wrongfully incarcerated for crimes they did not commit. We ask for a greater emergence of spiritual awakening across the four corners. We ask for greater opportunities for the homeless so they will receive much needed food, clothing and shelter. We ask for your forgiveness when we have brought dishonor to you. We thank you for our Elders that bring us wisdom and the lessons to be learned from the past and present. May we honor them with respect and gratitude. We thank you for our children that remind us of the lessons and innocence that we have long forgotten. May we honor them by erecting a strong foundation for them to build upon. We thank you for the many gifts and blessings you have granted to your children. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. We thank you for the waters that continue to hydrate our bodies. We thank you for the rainforests that provide us with the air we need to survive. We thank you for the precious gift of life.
