Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with humbled hearts that we unite together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the snow-capped mountains. We thank you for the melting of the snow as the water begins to descend down the rocks; maneuvering around obstacles and picking up speed to become creeks rippling down through the forest. We thank you for its purpose of hydration and growth. We thank you for the cascading waterfalls as it continues to flow to the valleys and rivers below; flowing toward the oceans that will ultimately come up to the clouds and begin the cycle again. We thank you for this knowledge of how life works in the circle and each portion has a purpose. We thank you for the numerous herbs of the forest and deserts that bring us the cures needed for our diseases and afflictions. We thank you for the plants that bring nourishment to all living things. We thank you for the cool gentle breeze in the early morning hour, as it caresses our skin. We thank you for the winds as it blows through the leaves of the birch, weeping willows and maple trees. We thank you for the shade of the oak and elm on the hot summer days ahead. We thank you for the birth of the fliers and four-leggeds during this season of birth and rejuvenation. We thank you for the plushness of the forest floor while the fawn and the hare frolic through its thickets, pines and sequoias. We thank you for the molten lava that forms new landscapes for the future. We thank you for the mysteries of the deep oceans teaming with life. We thank you for the beauty of the painted deserts and its inhabitants. We thank you for our Elders as they provide us with the necessary lessons and wisdom during our journey. We thank you for our children that will soon inherit the life we are preparing for them. May they strengthen the foundation and build upon the values of the ancestors. We thank you for family and friends that supply us with the support we need while we walk our path. We thank you for those that may come to us for a short time in order to bring insight when we may be at a crossroad. We thank you for the precious gift of all life. Emenv
