Great article from Amy Chavez about the demographic issues that the Seto islands are facing. While the Setouchi Triennale has changed a lot of things in my part of the sea, shes totally right that the main issue is inertia. Nobody can save the islands if not the islanders themselves. Some island(er)s seem to have understood it, some havent. The next ten years will be crucial for the future of the Seto Inland Sea.
