Great day hit river for a couple of hours after deliveries, just above and below forks at P Park. water a little clearer. Finally fish are chasing streamer. Netted a few nice browns that fought good and swam off with vigor. Love the action of streamer fishing, they hit it hard and are on or off. Also lots of chases. Today a huge dark rainbow chased my green beaded wooly bugger on 3 different casts. Again had river to myself 2 other fisherman kept our distance tons of water all to myself. Water was stained last 6 weeks due to almost daily monsoon rains. This is a good thing IMO in that no ones fishing during the hot summer due to off color, fish are not getting hammered, water is stained but way cooler than usual summer. So I know fall is just going to be awesome. less fisherman, streamer, large nymphs, fish like to gorge before winter...
