Great day yesterday with the Miller Dance (Norwich) posse at the Kettering ISTD Blackpool Qualifiers, Carol and I both got through our heats and into the finals for our Solo Latin rounds, with Carol getting 4th in the over50s Latin Jive and I got 5th in the over35s Latin Jive, def dodgy tactics from our own Edwina craftily sitting out the firsttime of the Over50 Latin final when she should have been in with Carol and Doreen, which ended up making us all have to dance it again hahaha :D im going to remember that one for next time hahaha I seriously thought I was going to die after dancing the Jive 3 times with twice being one after the other :D def need to get fit!!! we also got 5th for our couples Latin and 4th for Couples Ballroom cant quite say our solo ballroom events were anywhere as good, with us both getting knocked out in the first rounds for our solos, so yes Luke im sure youll smile that weve decided were more latin dancers than ballroom!!! hahaha :D fantastic day with great friends though and a massive well done to everyone who competed, espec Melanie Davey for getting 1st in our solo Latin over35 event, Im vvvvvv glad you did as dont think we would have heard the end of it on the journey home after the outcome of the Ballroom round, how was it... we were robbed hahahaha :D and thank you everyone for all the support and laughs yesterday :) xx Also Richard youll appreciate it when I say all a certain someone was saying last night after dropping you off and Mel off was Im disappointed I didnt do better in my ballroom now, given I qualified in it last time, I want to do it again!! hahahaha
