Great explanation of WHY Boost from Dr. Stephen - TopicsExpress

Great explanation of WHY Boost from Dr. Stephen OConnor. Stephen OConnor I had recently commented to a friend about why Boost? Though this is just MY opinion, I think it comes close to the logic in why Le-Vel is rolling out a very anticipated product... ...Can you sum up in print what you said on the call about why we need boost? The ph balancing part (scientific something or other LOL) I am getting the question f Thrive fills our nutritional gaps and gives us what we need then why do we need Boost? Thanks in advance! Boost is another piece of the nutritional puzzle. Greens help to buffer our GI tract and provide additional antioxidants. It is thought that Paleo mans diet was rich in plant-based foods which was beneficial to our health. Those with more fruits and vegetables in our diet seem to be healthier in general with lower incidence of cancer, cardiovascular disease, and reduced inflammatory conditions. It will tend to, albeit briefly, raise our blood pH helping us to absorb and utilize our nutrients better. It is misunderstood that we will have a sustained blood pH effect from greens, but it helps to maintain a healthy, slightly alkaline blood pH of ~7.4 by assisting our bodys buffering system with healthy nutrients. Cancer cells tend to be inhibited in growth by an alkaline milieu, which is why malignant cells will promote a locally acidic environment around the tumor. Not to say that Boost cures cancer, but Ill take the health changes associated with a green diet and supplement. Again, nothing magic, but good science and common sense here! More than anything else, it is another step towards a healthy lifestyle. If you can train your brain and habits to that of health and clean lifestyle, you will see the effects will be lifelong and positive. Boost just adds to the neuro-training that we often need. Further, the chlorophyll aids in digestion and health as a wonderful antioxidant. I bet, though I do not know the exact ingredients, that Le-Vel will add some supercharged antioxidants that they could not or did not add in the initial products. It is a great way to introduce and tweak ingredients that add to an already great formula! I hope that helps!!! go2thrive
