Great job by Scammon Bay residents working together on spring clean up project The community of Scammon Bay Environment staff Ekam Sundown and Nile Aguchak and all participants would like to thank Donlin Gold for being a major contributor in our community clean up efforts. 66 participants joined in on the event that took place from May 19-21. The overall total of bags collected reached 1,010. Overall, Craig hunter collected the most bags with a total of 55, and was awarded with a bike. Among the girls, Eileen Kasayuli collected 31.5 bags and was awarded with the girls bike. With the funding Donlin Gold provided, we purchased an iPad Mini which was awarded to Jackson Charlie for second most bags filled overall with a total of 51.
