Great late-night movie to hold me over until the finale of Halt and Catch Fire. One of my favorites. On Encore at the moment. Based on one of the short list books I wish I had written. I was skeptical when the film first came out because the setting was moved from London to Chicago -- Oh, great -- Hollywood had to go Americanize it. But Cusack nailed it. Perfect. And so, in his obnoxious way, did Jack Black. But makes me sad as I watch this is how dated the film now seems, with the way record stores have, for the most part, vanished.
