Great lecture! Points to take away: 1. Modernity, especially the 20th and early 21st century, will likely be remembered as the darkest of the dark ages. 2. Atheism based on materialism (or scientism) is not historically or philosophically capable of answering humanitys questions of value and existence. 3. Atheism, particularly the modern form of hatred for all religion born out of the western enlightenment period, is simply a heretical belief of cultural Christianity. It is the Christian anti-polytheism/anti-false god belief turned against its own cultural god.
