Great news! The neurosurgeon just left... They removed her c- collar!! She has torn ligaments in her neck but the dr thinks belle will be fine wo it as long as she takes it easy for the next 6-8 weeks. The blood will be reabsorbed in time. Doing another ct scan today, to compare to the other ones. Belle will miss the first week of school, then start 1/2 days for a few days. Belle gets dizzy and tires quickly and has a little trouble walking so physical therapy will come in today and work with her. All of belles vitals look good, she is smiling, eating and talking away! If all goes well we will go home tonight or in the morning. Thank you for all your prayers! The drs said they have never had a kid with a traumatic brain injury come back in with another head injury this soon after the first one! They told her they were gonna wrap her in bubble wrap and get her a permanent helmet!
