For the Cape, the area is unusually quiet; the natural environment is aided substantially by the presence of the 1,000-acre Massachusetts Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary on the south side of Lieutenant Island. Attractions: Massachusetts Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary; salt marsh; bird-watching; sandy beach for picnicking, swimming."
