Great work Enterprise Elementary School Teachers and Staff - TopicsExpress

Great work Enterprise Elementary School Teachers and Staff Members!! Enterprise Pre-K program studied community helpers throughout this entire week. The University of Mississippi Medical Center - AirCare flight crew went to speak to classes on Oct. 23, 2014; the AirCare medical helicopter landed in front of Enterprise Elementary School at approx. 10 am with local community workers from Enterprise Police & Fire Departments assisted with setting up the Landing Zone. Kids were able to go up and speak to the pilot, flight nurse, and both EMTs after landing. They also were able to view the inside of the helicopter. The learning objective for the children was that the students gained a wealth of knowledge within Social Studies about the various, important roles of community members within their hometown within Clarke County, MS. Personal interactions between the children and the active community members thoroughly engaged the children and made this one of the most exciting weeks yet as an Enterprise Elementary Preschooler! Teachers who made this possible (but not limited to) are: Mrs. Amanda Randall, Asst. Angela McNeil; Teacher-Mrs. Karen Hunter, and Asst. Melissa Anthony. Pictured below and Special Thanks to Paramedic Don Moore (Enterprise) for helping make this day special for both the children and Enterprise School District. (If anyone would like to submit more photos from this weeks activities at EES please email your photos to cchottopics@gmail Thanks).
