Greatest Leadville thus far. This was my third Leadville, finished in 13:47! ...Almost dead last. Derailer got bashed coming down Columbine. Barely made the Pipeline cutoff then the wheels really came off. Had to pretty much walk Powerline. By the time I hit the paved climb up Hagermans Pass I had to walk/ride the entire climb. It took me 5 hours to go from Powerline to the finish line. I would like to thank the Leadvillle Gods for testing me once again! Thank you Ken Chlober for the big hug at the finish and your infinite wisdom about life success. I will cherish my 2014 finisher medal far more than my 2013 buckle.
