Green India Tree Growth (GITG) foundation was founded on 30th May 2013 and is a Puducherry Registered Charity under the Indian income tax act 1961. GITG has operational offices in Puducherry. Our Focus Green India Tree Growth (GITG) Foundation works to raise awareness of global environmental issues, works for better environmental practices and take action against deforestation and climate change by planting trees. Our work aims to 1. works for better environmental practices. 2. take action against climate change. 3. set up school tree nurseries and provide environmental education. 4. providing environmental consultancy services. Our Beliefs The following points provide the framework for our work: 1. We recognize that children represent the future of our India and educating them on the environment is therefore critical to building a better future. 2. Trees have the power to change lives. Planting the right trees in the right projects can bring economic sustainability to poor rural communities, as well as provide significant environmental benefits. Climate change is the biggest challenge facing our world. It is critical to raise awareness of this issue, provide education around it, and encourage individuals and businesses to take action on it. Our Vission: Our Vission is to plant 2,000 Trees / Month in India. Our Mission: Our primary mission is to plant and help others plant a collective total of 18 billion trees in india. We are providing approximately 2 for every family who are having male childrens and 4 for having Female childrens and encourage their growth under organic standards.
