Green Volunteers, in collaboration with Shaoor The Society and School of International Law, is collecting both monetary and material donations. According to latest ground surveys, following is the list of items required in the IDP camps. Food items being requested for infants and children: 1. Powdered Milk 2. Energy Biscuits 3. Non-perishable foods for infants and children. Non food items required are: 1. Chattayian (also known as sleep mats or floor mats). 2. Kitchen Utensils, Plates, Plastic Glasses etc. 3. Childrens vitamins & basic medicines (including creams for rashes) for preventative care. 4. Sanitary Napkins (Pads) for Women. 5. Towels. 6. Hand Fans. 7. Toys (cricket tabs, tennis, soccer balls and dolls). 8. Water Coolers & Baltis (buckets, pails). 9. Burqas (so women can collect relief and visit hospitals). 10. Solar Lights and/or Candles. 11. Soap, preferably Sufi Soap (used for washing clothes). Medicines: 1. Gastro Medicines 2. Pain killer 3. Water Purifiers. The IDPs are the most deserving people for ZAKAT.
