Greetings All and Happy Monday! Vanpires are people too. Todays post concerns Psychology and Friendship. Julian is struggling to remember his previous life, but more importantly, he has friends beside him to step bravely into tomorrow. For context, it starts right after my last book post. Im having a great time polishing The Rising of Julian Adams, and conversing with you on other posts around the twists and turns of Facebook. Thanks for keeping with me, and for your friendships! FYI: my final editing is far ahead of my posting. Ill try to keep it more consistent and frequent for you. I seem to always be busy, and I havent trained myself to take a break and post these snippets. ************************************************************************************** Julian was amazed he recalled it so well. He knew it had been seared into his memory and affected him long afterwards. Yet much of his life was forgotten. The harder he tried to remember, the further things seemed to recede. One thing was certain, the memories that had come back were emotionally charged. So far, all that had surfaced were of his wife Carolyn, some good and bad times with his mom and dad, and a few of his work stories. They got a good glimpse into Julian’s heart and were quite impressed by the man sitting with them. “How about a story on a brighter note?” He looked at them before proceeding in case he had already talked too much. “Go on, Julian,” Michael prompted, “Remembering is a good thing. It’s like a roadmap that shows the bumps and forks in your life journey. Some places define you and others might need to be put into perspective. Knowing yourself is difficult without remembering where you’ve been, where you are, and your future hopes.” “Yes, counselor, I know that,” Julian replied in a flat tone. “Really, Julian. Keep seeking to remember. You’re not alone in this and we know you’ve had a hard time. Let Esther and me help even if you just need someone to listen,” Michael answered compassionately.
