Greetings all.. I contacted RVA Yeast Labs in Richmond VA https://facebook/rvayeastlabs My initial contact was an attempting to arrange a tour or beer sampling yeast has on beer flavor. Although we those items were not supportable, they did offer to travel up here to one of our meetings & give a class on yeast. Additionally they offered to bring us a couple samples, which I thought was more than kind. I took things to the next level and wanted to get an interest check… SBC have talked about an Iron brew concept where we start with a single large batch of wort and each brewer does as they please i.e. dry hop, fermentation temp, yeast strain etc. and we eventually do a tasting. Why not take this concept in a bit of different direction. We will start with a single batch of wort and the only variable would be yeast strain. We would use RVA yeast strains (which in a group purchase they will offer us a discount). Thoughts?? Interest level????
