Greetings everyone on this very bitter cold, snowy, wintry last day of 2014 from here in OZLand. As I reflect over the last year and look toward 2015, I truly do view love is like a window, and perhaps an open door................ Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr., known professionally as John Denver was born today in 1943. He was an American singer, songwriter of over 200 songs which he released, with sales of over 300 million records. He was an actor of movies and television. Well known as an activist and humanitarian, cared greatly for the environment, helped the poor, hungry, homeless and the World AIDS crisis. He loved airplanes, being an avid pilot......sadly died in a plane crash in 1997.
