Greetings facebook family:), As most of you know by now, I am living in Northern Minnesota. Half of the week I live in Wirt (a gas station 20 miles away from where I stay:) and the other half of the week I live in Hinkley. I like Northern Minnesota better than I thought I would...it is really beautiful...and wild! And after half a week of isolation from humanity, I get the blessed relief of people when we travel down for a busy half week jammed full of ministry stuff. Honestly, by the time the half week of ministry is over, I am very eager for the peace and quiet of the North Woods. It is a pleasant balance:) My reason for what I am doing? I am getting to know a very good man named Matthew John Moris. Really...a better man than I deserve! He loves the Lord, hears from Him daily, and listens to Him. He has a serious fellowship with our Lord. I respect Matthew very much-and more and more every day I know him. I have actually known about him since last Thanksgiving-ish, but I have only been getting to know him for 5 weeks. I believe the Lord had me know about him and think about him for that long before I met him because I had to process through the idea of him being a pastor and all the serious implications of joining such a man in ministry (if he liked me when he met me:). I have felt called to official ministry (although we all are ambassadors for Christ) since I was young and I wanted to make sure God was placing me in ministry with this man. I also knew because of his position in leadership, I did not want to just play with his emotions, but wanted to know Gods will and stay or move on quickly. As I have watched him and been involved in his life, I find I am excelled mentally and spiritually and am honored to serve the Lord with this man. While I am getting to know him, I stay with his sister while up north and then with a church family when I am in Hinkley. Please do give me a call! I really really do miss you all! And, for me, both his life up here in the North Woods and ministry life are a huge cross-cultural experience for me and at times overwhelming! So a link to the life I knew is so welcome! My cell phone number is (320) 296-0385. This number does not work very well when I am in the Minnesota Bush, so an alternate number is (218) 897-5556. This number is the Moris Home land line. If I cannot get to the phone right away, please leave a message. I miss and love you all but am so blessed and happy to plow big fields for the glory of God with this good man! Elizabeth:)
