Greetings friends! I am going to Uganda again on July 24th. Looking back, I see this is probably my 15th trip since going with Ken Goyer first in May 2005. Its always a long trip - each way - but I look forward to seeing friends and colleagues who are now an integral part of the fabric of my life. This trip will be about six weeks. Have we done any good in that time? You bet! Weve distributed about 60,000 efficient cooking stoves, planted probably 150,000 fruit trees and brought clean water sources to about 25,000 people. For such a small organization as we are, thats huge! Visitors remark about how efficient we are with our resources. I do have a request for you - any of you. We recently had a laptop stolen from a car. And the one the office uses most if one that Ken brought in 2006 and it was old then. If you have a newer laptop that is sitting under your desk or in your closet, would you consider donating it to Aid Africa? We could really use a half dozen now. So dont wait for someone else to step up. I;l need it before I leave, of course. Thanks for caring for the very poor people Aid Africa serves.
