Louis Petruha, OFM, Cap Another aspect of the parish that many of you may not be aware of is the weekly Bingo which has been held continuously since the dedication of the school in the late sixties. Over these years Bingo has been a major fundraiser for the parish just as the Carnival is at present. Many will remember that Bingo was a major way many Catholic Churches used to raise extra funds for special projects. Bingo was also a social endeavor bringing parishioners together for a common purpose. Bingo is not that way anymore. Younger people may not even know what it is. This is true at our Parish! Yet the weekly Bingo is still a major fundraiser which continues to supplement the Ordinary Income of the Parish. During the past ten or more years, our yearly income has been around 50-60 thousand dollars.
