Greetings unto the assembled members of the Academie dEspee, I, Maestro Dante di Pietro, along with The Honorable Lord Benjamin Lilje and The Honorable Lord Brian de Moray, as Companions of the Order of the White Scarf, have collectively offered our sponsorship for Terasu to advance to the rank of Free Scholar of the Academie. He, knowing full well the responsibilities that come with this, has accepted our offer of a gold scarf. In his time in the SCA, Terasu has distinguished himself as a true citizen of Atlantia, with all that entails. First making his mark as an archer, both as a competitor and instructor, he moved on to rapier, where his dedication to continual improvement was immediately apparent. Terasu has an extensive background in unarmed combat, and brings that prior training to his rapier progress. His skill with the katana as a Cut & Thrust style is exemplary, both in control and effectiveness. His garb is terrifying and impressive. As a marshal and fighter, Terasu goes above and beyond in his training, attending multiple practices each week as well as taking time to run extra sessions when able.
